9WD-C compact size ultrasonic type water meter is specially designed to suit urban water supply pipeline network and also the diversified industrial conditions. This product adopts ultrasonic transit-time differential measurement technology in a pair of ultrasonic transducers to deliver precise measurement. It does not have any moving parts that can wear out, thus, literally requires no maintenance. In a long run, users can benefit a lot from its features.

Applications

OPERATION PRINCIPLE

Two ultrasonic transducers work as transceiver and also receiver. Under the control of integrator, both ultrasonic transducers will transmit and receive ultrasonic pulse alternately. The time taken by the ultrasonic pulse to travel downstream and upstream will be measured. The time taken by the ultrasonic pulse to travel is directly proportional to the velocity of the water. Ultrasonic transit-time differential technology unique algorithm can use the difference of both pulses travel time to determine the flowrate of the water.
