uFlow 220HC is compact type ultrasonic Thermal Energy or BTU meter that can be used for measuring energy consumption in heating or cooling application in submetering billing or HVAC measurement and control purposes. The measurement principle is static and based on the measurement of transit time with a pair of ultrasonic transducer propagating at each other one upstream and the other downstream. It is a non reflective design and the benefit is significant because over time, heating and cooling flowline become dirty and begin to affect typical reflective designs. This eliminates impending failures and allows the meter to continue to capture measurements regardless of liquid quality.
